Box Score For 90:58, Hamline's women's soccer team battled Bethel on about as even terms as one can imagine. 

At that juncture, the Royals held a slight edge in total shots (11-9) but the Pipers had a 6-5 edge in shots on goal.Then, Hamline was called for a foul in the penalty kick area. Bethel's Jessica Huseby converted the largesse to send the Pipers to a frustrating 1-0 loss at Paterson Field. 

Erin Urbanowicz, one of seven seniors honored before the game, was again superb in goal. Sher had four save sin the first half alone and one in the second before allowing the PK.

Aileen Scheibner (pictured)  , another senior honored ahead of time and Malta Hirshkowitz each had two shots for HU, which is now 7-7-2 overall (1-6-1 MIAC). 

The Pipers need a win and at least a tie in their last two games to record their fourth consecutive winning season. Hamline hosts St. Mary's Wednesday, October 29 at Paterson Field at 3:30 p.m. They finish the season November 1 at Gustavus Adolphus.
