Garrett Schmitz had the goals for HU, which was outshot 34-25 on the night. Hamline is now 4-7-3 overall.Â
Hamline trailed 4-0 when  Kessler got the Pipers on the board in the second period. Later, Kessler set up McGlynn for a goal in  the third period.Â
HU plays UW-Stout Friday in Menominee, Wis. Friday. The Pipers return to MIAC action next weekend when they host Concordia in a pair of games at Oscar Johnson Arena on Friday, January 15 and Saturday, January 16.Â
