James Logan and Sam Bell's top 25 finishes at the MIAC Cross Country Championships October 29 earned him an Honorable Mention on the All-MIAC team announced today. Logan, a La Crosse, Wis. native, missed getting on the All-Conference team by two seconds. The top 15 finishers make the All-Conference team and the next 10 draw Honorable Mention. Logan's time of 26:49.5 for the 8K terrain at Como Golf Course in St. Paul was just behind Carleton's Walter Edstrom, who was 15th in 26:47.3. Jack Henschel of St. Olaf was 16th (26:48.3). Bell, a freshman from Orono, was 25th in 27:02.1. Only two freshmen made the team.

The Pipers compete Friday in the Fall Finale at St. John's. The race begins at 4:40 p.m.
