Twice and .. for that maZtter, thrice was nice for the Hamline men's tennis team Saturday night against Central (Iowa).
Matt Seracki,
Mark Johnson,
Gabriel Guarin and
Ben Klimek all won two matches as the Pipers stretched their winning streak to three in a row with the 7-2 non-conference win over the Dutchmen in White Bear Lake.
Johnson, playing No. 3 singles,l won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0. Seracki, at No. 4, did likewise. Guarin at No. 5, won 6-4, 6-4 and Klimek at No. 6 , claimed 6-0, 6-3 verdicts.
Seracki and Johnson teamed up at No. 1 doubles for an 8-0 win. Guarin and Klimek had to work harder but came away with a 9-7 triumph.
Hamline returns to the court February 24 for a match MIAC at St. Mary's.
