Anthony Hill is getting another chance to show off his football skills. The Brooklyn Park, Minn. native, a fixture in the Hamline defensive secondary the past four seasons, has been invited to the Minnesota Vikings Rookie Mini-Camp to be held later this week at the team's facility in Eden Prairie, Minn.
Hill was a major presence on defense and special teams during his time at HU. He was named to a pair of All-MIAC teams, finishing his career with 285 career tackles, 170 of which were solos. In addition, he intercepted five passes in his career. he led the HU secondary in 2016 with five pass breakups.
As a special teams player, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown, recorded a defensive safety for a blocked extra point and blocked several other kicks, including an extra point attempt in overtime at Augsburg that helped Hamline gain possession of the Hammer Trophy after an absence of several years.Â
