Kathleen Miles and Madeline Dopp finished five seconds apart to lead Hamline's women's cross country team to a sixth place at the Roy Griak Invitation held at the U of M Golf Course Saturday. All five Piper scorers finished in the top 50 in a 154-runner field on a steamy morning. Miles finished 21st, running the 6K course in 25:19.3. Dopp (pictured) was two places behind, checking in at 24:24.4. Helen Dolan was 33rd (25:45) with Holly Hankins placing 39th (26:05.7) and Meg Griffin coming in 49th (26:14.5)

As a team, Hamline took sixth place with 165 points. 

The Pipers continue their prep for the MIAC meet when they will compete in the St. Catherine Invite on October 7.
