Hamline finished fourth in a six team field at the NCGA team meet in Springfield, Mass. Friday. The Pipers totaled a school record 190.000 points, led by
Sydney Tribbett who tied for second in the Floor Exercise with a 9.825 score. The senior also led the Piper brigade on the Vault with a 9.650 tally (tied for fifth place).
Morgan Bradford was tops on the Bars at 9.650 and
Courtney Morrison had the highest score on the Balance Beam at 9.550.
The Pipers were third in the team competition for the Floor Exercise with a 48.700 total and the Bars with a 47.325 score. (In addition to Tribbett,
Darby Slater tied for 10th place with a 9.775 score.
Caitlin Cooper just missed making the All-American team when she was ninth in the All-Around with a 36.950 score.
Several Pipers will be in the field for the individual competition that will be held on Saturday. Tribbett will be in two events -- the Vault and Floor Exercise.
Alyssa Huch is also in the Vault competition. Slater, Cooper and
Alexa Vorderbruggen will join Tribbett in the Floor Exercise.
