Kevin had quite a weekend as Hamline's men hockey team staged two furious rallies in a 5-5 tie with Lake Forest and a 5-4 win over No. 6 UW-Stevens Point. On Friday, the junior had a pure hat trick in third period as HU stormed back from a 5-2 deficit. The next night, he scored the second of three third period tallies in the thrilling win over the nationally ranked Pointers. For the weekend, he was a +6. Kevin leads the Pipers (and is second in the MIAC) in scoring with 10 goals. He also is second in plus-minus in the league with a +10 showing.

Hamline is 5-4-4 overall. They stand 1-0-3 in the MIAC and return to conference action this weekend with a home and home series against St. Olaf. The teams play Friday at Oscar Johnson Arena (7:00 p.m.) and Saturday night in Northfield.
