Jordan Danielson was a busy person last weekend. The sophomore played a lot successful tennis as the Pipers took two of three matches. Danielson had the lone HU triumph at No. 2 singles (winning in straight sets) in an 8-1 loss to Bethel on Friday. The next day, she won in singles and paired with Emily Butler for No. 1 doubles wins as the Pipers swept away UW-Stout, 9-0 and defeated Bethany Lutheran, 8-1.
Danielson won both singles matches there in straight sets as well. For the weekend, she lost just seven games at singles. For the season, the Maplewood, Minn. native is now 4-3 in singles. She and Butler, a junior, are 3-4 in taking on opponents' top doubles teams.
Hamline returns to action Feb. 27 with a match at St. Mary's.
