Maggie Gibson came back from Florida hot in more ways than just a good tan. The sophomore won at singles and doubles in consecutive matches as HU won two in a row to improve their overall season mark to 5-10.
On Saturday, Gibson won her No. 4 singles match, 6-4, 6-4 and them teamed with Lilli Dennison for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles in a 6-3 decision over Ave Maria.
Two days later, she repeated the feat, winning at singles by 6-1, 6-0 and then teaming with Dennison for a 8-6 in doubles as part of a 8-1 win over Webber International.
The Elk Mound, Wis. native mproved to 5-10 on the season in singles. She and Dennison (who also won both her singles matches at No. 5) are 2-1 as a tandem.
Hamline returns to action next week whent hey face Macalester April 7 at Holt Courts.
