The WIAC Gymnastics Championship Meet is less than a month away. If wqhat happened last Friday is any indication, Hamline sophomore Sela Fadness will be one of the names to watch closely when everybody convenes in La Crosse, Wis. March 4
The Austin, Minn. native was a major factor in the Pipers' first meet win of the season, a 185.775-182.975 win over UW-Stout at Walker Field House.
Fadness was the last competitor on the mat for the Floor Exercise. But she emerged with the best score of the night, registering an impressive 9.650. Sela followed that up by finishing second on the Balance Beam (9.475) and came in third on the Vault (9.575).Â
The Pipers have their final home meet of the season scheduled for Sunday, February 14 against Gustavus Adolphus at Hutton Arena. The meet will start at 1:00 p.m.
