Her timing could not have been better. Tia Diggins picked an excellent time to record a career high for points and rebounds. The senior guard unleashed 15 points and tied her mark for most rebounds ina game with nine as the Pipers broke away in the second half for a 75-50 win at Carleton last Saturday. The victory evened Hamline's overall mark at 4-4 and gave them their first win after three setbacks in MIAC play. 

The Montvideo, Minn. native worked her way into the lineup last year, playing 24 games and averaging 6.6 points per game. This season, she has started every game, serving as one of the key team's key rebounders (her total of 43 is second on the team). She also has 14 assists. 

Last Saturday, she had the shooting touch, hitting five of nine field goal tries and five of six free throws attempts. Diggins and her teammates are on the floor on Monday, December 12 at Wis-River Falls. HU then takes a break until December 29-30 when they travel to Wartburg for a two-day tournament. HU plays the host school the first day and will face either Washington (Mo.) or Wis- La Crosse on December 30.
