Bethany did more than just lead off for the Piper spoftball team lasrt week. The Carver, Minn. senior outfielder led as well.  Bethany went 6-for-11 at the plate with a triple, a RBI, a walk, a sacrifice hit and two stolen bases in three games. For the year, she is tied for the team lead  in batting average with a .375 mark. Just as importantly, she is putting the ball in play. She has not struck out in her last five games. HU went 4-6 on their California swing and hopes to start MIAC play (weather permitting) later this week.
