With 1 1/2 weeks left in the regular season, the Hamline men's basketball team is in the middle of a scramble for playoff spots. One of the reasons why is the play of a healthy Dylan See-Rockers. 

An injury ended his sophomore season after eight games. This year, the Albert Lea, Minn. native is back leaping and shooting like his old self. That was particularly so last week when he scored 38 points and added nine rebounds as the Pipers won two of three games played on the road. Dylan started the week with 17 points in a 65-57 win at St. Olaf. He had 10 in the 75-70 loss at St. Mary's but improved that number to 11 (including six big free throws) in a 68-63 win at Gustavus Adolphus -- the first Piper win in St. Peter in six years.

Hamline is 12-9 overall and tied for fifth place in the MIAC with a 9-7 mark. They start a rugged final stretch of the season Wednesday, Feb. 8 against first place St. Thomas at Hutton Arena (7 p.m.). This Saturday, they face the team they are tied with for fifth place -- Concordia -- in Moorhead for a 3 p.m.game.
