Hamline University Athletics

Sydney Tribbett was a busy -- and very successful -- gymnast for Hamline in their season-opening meet at Wisconsin-Oshkosh last Saturday. The senior started her final year of competition off with impressive efforts for the Pipers, who dropped a razor thin 183.525-183.475 decision to the Titans. 

Tribbett tied for second in the Floor Exercise with a 9.425 score. Earlier, she was fourth in the Vault (9.300) and also earned a ninth place standing on the Balance Beam (9.200). 

Tribbett and the Pipers open their home season at Walker Field House on Sunday, January 19 against the defending D-III champion Wisconsin-Whitewater. The meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
