Sydney Tribbett's farewell effort as a Hamline gymnast was a memorable one. The Kingman, Ariz. native finished in a tie for ninth place -- barely missing out on All-American status -- in the Vault at the NCGA meet in Springfield, Mass. March 24. Tribbett scored 9.6250, a mere .250 away from eighth place -- the last spot for the All-American team. 

It was part of a busy final day for Tribbett, who came in 21st in the Floor Exercise individual event.

The day before, Tribbett was second in the Floor Exercise with a 9.825 score to help Hamline to record a school record 190.00 points en route to a fourth place finish in the team competition. Sydney was fifth in the Vault with a 9.650 effort.
