10 days off didn't put any rust on Dean Isaacson's skills as a men soccer goalie. The senior stood tall Saturday in goal, holding host Concordia at bay as the Pipers earned a huge 1-0 win in Moorhead. The decision elevated HU's overall record to 4-2 and evened their MIAC slate at 1-1.Â
The St. Paul, Minn. native earned his second shutout this season, lowering his goals-against to 0.69 for the 2018 campaign. The senior ranks fourth in the loop in save percentage (.867) and fifth in saves (26) and goals-against average.Â
Isaacson and the Pipers have two tests this week. HU faces St. Thomas at Paterson Field on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 29, the Pipers head to Northfield to challenge St. Olaf in a 3;30 p.m. start.Â
It is his 15th career shutout, second most in Pipers men's soccer history.Â
