Molly Garin was in the spirit of giving November 30 for the Hamline women's hockey team. The first year forward set up the first two goals in the Pipers' 3-2 win over St. Catherine at Drake Arena that day.

The next day, Garin became the shooter, scoring the first two goals of the game as HU overpowered the Wildcats, 6-1, for a sweep of the weekend series. Hamline, rated No. 7 in the country in the d3hockey.com poll, is 7-1 overall and 5-1 in MIAC play.

For her part, Garin leads all first year players (and is second in the conference) in points with 11 (three goals, eight assists). The Mound, Minn. native hits the ice December 4 for a non-conference game against Wis-Superior (5:00 p.m.). HU has one last game before the holiday break: Monday, December 10 vs. Wis-Eau Claire at TRIA.
