Taylor Trapp doubled his pleasure last week. The sophomore men's hockey forward had scored just one goal entering last week's slate of games against St. Scholastica at TRIA Rink and a pair of games against Concordia in Moorhead. The We4st Salem, Wis. native turned out to be the Pipers' lone offensive weapon for the week. He scored the lone HU goal in a 3-1 loss to the Saints and did so again in a 5-1 second game setback against the Cobbers.

His total of three for the season is one better than he achieved in his freshman season and ranks second best on the team heading to a game against Milwaukee School of Engineering at TRIA Rink on Friday, December 14. Game time is 4:15 p.m. That will be the final game on the 2018 portion of the schedule for the Pipers, currently 2-9 overall and 2-4 in MIAC play.
