It was a lovely weekend to run ... indoors. Just ask Hamline senior Gabrielle Brown. The senior did just that on consecutive days for the women's track/field team. On Friday, she won the 60 Hurdles in a meet at St. Thomas in a snappy 8.94 seconds. 

The next day, she took the 55 Hurdles at Carleton in 8.39 ticks. She was third in the 55 Meter Dash (7.4) and then teamed up with Briana Berninghaus, Abigail Van Goethem and Liliana Olson for a winning 4 x 200 relay (1:49.63). 

With the conference meet just a couple of weeks away, Gabby holds the top time so far this winter in the 60 Hurdles (8.79 in December) and the third best in the 60 Meter Dash. 

Brown and her teammates have one last tuneup before the MIAC Championships this Saturday, February 16 at the U of Minnesota Parents' Day Open. The conference meet is Feb. 21-23 at St. Olaf.
