On a women's tennis team where Ali Kopiecki and Courtney Fenech draw a lot of the headlines, Megan Anderson sometimes get overlooked.Â
That was not the case last Saturday when the junior paired with Kopiecki for an 8-6 win against Macalester in a doubles match. Later, it was her 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles that was a key ingredient as the Pipers edged the Scots, 5-4, for their first conference win. The decision, the first over Mac since 2016,  also evened the seasonal record at 8-8.
The Eagan, Minn. native has been a steady presence all season, posting a 9-5 mark playing at No. 5 and 6 singles. In doubles, Megan is tied for the team lead in wins with nine, including a 4-2 when playing at No. 1.Â
The Piper hit the court again April 14 against Concordia at Baseline Tennis Center. The match begins at 4:00 p.m.
