Sophomore volleyballer Gabby Robinson had the perfect answer to get her team to shake off a season opening loss to Lewis & Clark in the Oregon Trail. The Le Center, Minn. native smashed a career high 18 kills as HU rallied for a 3-2 win over Willamette. Robinson and her teammates kept up the attack the next day with a 3-1 win over Linfield and a 3-0 win over George Fox to make their West Coast trip one to remember fondly. 

Robinson led the offensive attack with 44 kills in the four pack of matches. She added 29 digs and four service aces and was named to the All-Tournament team. 

The Pipers wiull stay closer to home this weekend. They face Knox and Bethany Lutheran on Septmber 6 in a tournament at Macalester. HU opens the Hutton Arena schedule on Wednesday, September 11. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
