Hamline men's swimmer Nicholas Grivna made a big splash in the team's home opener Saturday at Bush Pool. 

The junior won the 200 Free race in 1:50.24 at the HU Invite. He also swam second in the 100 Butterfly. His clocking of 56.02 was less than a half a second from the lead. Grivna also anchored the Pipers' winning effort in the 200 Medley Relay race.

Grivna and the Pipers have some time to rest up before their next action. The men return to the pool to Gustavus Adolphus at Bush Pool on Saturday, November 16. The meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
