Chris Gill really persevered Saturday. On a rainy, cold, windy Saturday, the North St. Paul junior fought off to lead the way for the Pipers at the annual Roy Griak Invitational.  Chris finished 48th in the 296-runner field in a time of 27:42.5. He was the only Piper to crack the top 50 in this prestigious race. He trailed just three MIAC runners to help the Pipers to a 14th place finish among 26 teams.
