Thomas hauled in 11 receptions for a career-best 159 yards, and three touchdowns in Hamline's 38-30 loss to Augsburg on October 23. He came up big for the Pipers in the fourth quarter with five catches for 96 yards, which includes 56, and 12-yard touchdown grabs that generated a comeback that fell just short after being down 38-16 with 3:28 left in the contest that is annually dubbed "The Hammer." He also returned three kickoffs for 60 yards against the Auggies.
