Tylar Sayles engineered a Pipers defense that allowed just one goal, and 27 shots in a week that included a 0-0 tie against UW-Stevens Point at Pat Paterson Field on September 7, and a 1-0 loss to Whitman in Highlands Ranch, Colorado on September 9. The Woodbury, Minnesota native contributed five shots over the two-game span, four of which came against UW-Stevens Point.
