Now that he is healthy, Kevin Novakovich is back doing what he likes -- making opponents miserable with an ability to score and set up teammates.

Kevin did just that last weekend, getting a goal and an assist in each game as the Pipers lost at UW-Stout but rallied for a 2-2 tie at UW-River Falls Saturday night. Both of his goals came on the power play. His tally on Saturday with a little over three minutes remaining lifted HU to its first point of the season.

Last year, an injury hampered Novo seriously, limiting him to just 17 games and four goals. This year, he leads HU in goals with three and is tied for the lead in points with five. (That ranks 4th in the MIAC).
