Gingras played the game his life with eight tackles (seven solo) that included two for a combined loss of 15 yards, as well as a five-year sack in a 33-26 victory over St. Scholastica on November 4. The Hudson, Wisconsin native also registered two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble. Gingras forced, and recovered a fumble that gave Hamline the ball on the St. Scholastica 41-yard line with 14:45 left in the second quarter. His second fumble recovery occurred with 10:37 left in the third quarter. That proved to be the game's turning point as Hamline took the lead for good on the ensuing drive courtesy of Durham Welch's 28-yard field goal that made the score 23-20 with 5:35 left in the third quarter.
