Nelson accumulated one goals, four assists, and 10 shots on goal in a three-game swing that included a 4-0 victory over Bowdoin on December 30, a 2-1 decision over Williams on December 31, and a 7-1 thrashing of UW-Stevens Point on January 6. The Mahtomedi, Minnesota native tallied one goal and one against Bowdoin, and contrtributed two assists against UW-Stevens Point.
