Kaitlyn Kotek accumulated 121 assists (9.31 per set), 30 digs (2.31 per set), six aces, and 11 kills over three matches last week. The Northfield native played the match of her life in a 3-1 victory over Luther on September 25 with a four-set career high 48 assists as well as five kills, four aces, five digs, and one solo block. Kotek notched 39 assists, one ace, and a season-high 16 digs in a 3-2 loss to St. Catherine on September 27. She concluded the week with 34 assists, nine digs, and one ace in a 3-1 loss to St. Olaf on September 28. Kotek's efforts landed her September 30 MIAC Women's Volleyball Specialist of the Week, the first Piper to earn a MIAC weekly honor since October 25, 2021 when Sydney Larson landed offensive player of the week.
