Box Score

For more than two periods, the Hamline men's hockey team stayed stride for stride with St. Olaf. The Oles wrangled a first period goal but that was it until the Oles hit on a power play 3:42 into the final frame.

The game fell apart late, though, and the Pipers ended up on the short end of a 5-0 score Friday night in Northfield.

Hamline unloaded 26 shots at STO goalie Steve Papciak. Anthony Wolfe led the way with four (three in the first period) with Cody Mason, Kevin Novakovich and Brandon Zurn adding three each.

John Sellie-Hanson recorded 29 saves in the HU goal.

Hamline (2-11-1 overall, 1-4 MIAC) will look to even the score when the teams face off Saturday night at Oscar Johnson Arena. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
