Box Score In the middle of winter, we know what happens when our battery doesn't click as we try to start our car. The HU women's basketball team ran into a similar problem Saturday in a 56-41 loss to St. Olaf in Northfield. The Pipers were held to just four first quarter and 17 first half points. They held St. Olaf to just 34 per cent shooting from the field for the day (21-61). But the Oles did hit on seven three-point shots to Hamline's one.

Chloe Graves scored 14 points and Chelsey Bonsante inched closer to the vaunted 1,000 point mark for her career with 10 for Hamline.

With her team down 27-17 at halftime, Emily Behrman got HU off on the right foot by hitting a jumper for the first points of the half. STO, in a tense competition for a playoff spot, responded with seven unanswered points to make it 34-19 and held HU off the rest of the way.

Bonsante, who scored eight of her points at the free throw line, led the board battle for Hamline with eight. Allison Bartak (pictured) added seven.

The Pipers are now 3-16 overall, 1-11 in the MIAC. They continued their road work with a game at Augsburg on Wednesday, February 3. game time is 7:00 p.m. St. Thomas visits Hutton on Saturday, February 6 for a 3:00 p.m. game.
