Box Score It didn't take long for the Hamline women's basketball team to even the score on the 2017-18 MIAC conference slate. The Pipers used a 22-12 fourth quarter surge to rally past St. Olaf for a 60-55 victory Wednesday in Northfield. Hamline improved to 2-4 on the season, 1-1 in the MIAC with the impressive road win.

The quartet of  Morgen Coleman, Molly Wampler, Reilly Geistfeld and Alaina Quaranta shared honors as all four finished the game in double figures for scoring. Coleman led the way with 15 points and six rebounds. Wampler was 9-for-10 from the free throw line en route to scoring 13. Geistfeld hit five baskets to hit a baker's dozen as well while Quaranta scored 10 points, adding six rebounds and a game high five steals.

HU trailed 46-38 when Coleman started the rally with the game's only three-pointer with nine minutes on the clock. Wampler's three-point play chopped the lead to a pair two minutes later. Quaranta hit a free throw and Geistfeld added a layup to complete a 10-0 run that gave HU a brief lead. The game was tied at 52 when Coleman netted a pair of free throws with 1:45 on the clock. Later, Wampler drained four freebies, Coleman added two and Kaeli Stayer (who had seven points and four rebounds) drained the last one to cap off the comeback win.

The Pipers stay on the road Saturday, December 8 at Gustavus Adolphus. Game time is 3:00 p.m.
