SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's hockey team squared-off against Concordia (Minn.) in the back end of their two-game series at Tria Rink on Saturday afternoon. Ally Steffensmeier's two-goal game helped the Pipers salvage the weekend sweep with a 2-0 victory over the Cobbers.
Hamline improves to 6-4, 5-1 MIAC, while Concordia (Minn.) falls to 3-6, 0-6 MIAC.

Steffensmeier gave the Pipers a quick 1-0 lead at 3:06 of the first period, and put the nail in the coffin at 19:12 of the third. Emme Nelson and Annika Lindgren notched assists on the first goal.
The Pipers outshot the Cobbers 40-15. Airika Penney secured the shutout in net with 15 saves for Hamline, while Becca Macklin stopped 38 shots for Concordia.
The Pipers will host No. 9 UW-Eau Claire at Tria Rink on Tuesday, December 6 at 7 p.m.
