Broyles Claims Women's Three-Meter Dive Title on Day Two of MIAC Swimming & Diving Championship

DAY TWO TEAM RESULTS

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University swimming & diving teams embarked on day two of the 2022 MIAC Swimming & Diving Championship at the University of Minnesota on Thursday. Courtney Broyles' first-place score of 403.10 in the 3-meter dive for the women highlighted the Pipers on day two. The women sit in seventh place through day two with 71 points, while the men are in sixth place with 20 points.

St. Catherine leads the women's field with 274 points, while Gustavus Adolphus commands the men with 343 points.

Broyles is the first Piper to win the MIAC Women's 3-Meter Dive Title since 1991, when Laura Strong claimed gold with a 393.80.

The men was all George Hubbard, who dominated in the 50 yard freestyle with a fifth-place time of 21.25. Quinn Doan was also lethal as he secured 11th place in the 200 yard IM with a 2:00.14.

The Pipers will compete on day three of the 2022 MIAC Championship tomorrow, Friday, February 18 at 10:30 a.m. / 6:30 p.m.
