DAY FOUR TEAM RESULTS
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—The Hamline University swimming & diving teams completed the fourth and final day of the 2022 MIAC Championship at the University of Minnesota on Saturday. The women finished in seventh place out of nine teams with 164 points, while the men took sixth of six teams with 64 points.
Courtney Broyles took home 2022 MIAC Women's Diver of the Year, the first Piper to ever achieve the honor. Day four saw Broyles take second place in the one-meter dive with a 418.80.
Sarah Wood was lethal for the women on day four, as she claimed sixth place in the 200 yard breaststroke with a 2:29.44. Sila Yurttas followed in 10th with a 2:33.92, while Bennett Nigro took 13th with a 2:38.41.
Morgan Schrader was effective in the 1650 yard freestyle with a 17th-place time of 19:38.52, while Lilah Fischer took 24th with a 20:45.08.
The men were led by George Hubbard's sixth-place mark of 46.91 in the 100 yard freestyle, while the 200 yard breaststroke saw Quinn Doan take 11th with a 2:14.98.
