MIAC RELEASE
SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University men's swimming & diving senior George Hubbard was named January 17 MIAC Men's Swimming Athlete of the Week. This marks Hubbard's second MIAC weekly honor this season, as he also earned the distinction on November 15.

Hubbard engineered the Pipers in their dual at St. Olaf on January 7, as he registered a first-place time of 5:01.19 in the 500-yard freestyle. The Orange City, Iowa native kept the momentum going in the 200-yard freestyle, where he notched second place with a 1:48.93. Hubbard also registered a mark of 1:49.24 in the 200-yard medley relay, good enough for fourth place.
The Pipers will compete at the UW-Stevens Point Invite on Friday, January 20 - Saturday, January 21.
