MOORHEAD, MINN.—The Hamline University women's hockey team pushed their win streak to five games with a 2-1 victory at Concordia on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers improve to 7-2-0, 5-1-0 MIAC, while the Cobbers fall to 2-6-1, 0-5-1 MIAC.

Each period resulted in one goal. Concordia's first shot attempt of the game at 1:18 of the first period resulted in a 1-0 lead courtesy of Morgan Sauvageau.Â
The Piper's two unanswered goals came from Elizabeth Valley on the power play at 00:56 of the second period that tied the game 1-1, followed by Annabel Mehta's second tally of the weekend at 3:46 of the third frame that made the score 2-1.
Hamline, who finished 1-for-3 on the power play, out shot Concordia 31-17. Emme Nelson, Michaela Arnold, and Ashley Grabau each notched an assist for the Pipers.Â
Olivia Rinzel stopped 16 shots in net for Hamline, while Concordia goaltender Hailee Bailey made 29 saves.
The Pipers host No. 10Â UW-Eau Claire at TRIA Rink on Tuesday, December 5 at 7 p.m.
