TUCSON, ARIZ.—The Hamline University baseball team's final game of spring break pitted them against Redlands (Calif.) in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday morning. Redlands grabbed the third and final lead change of the game in the top of the 10th inning, where they secured a 10-9 (10 Innings) victory after Hamline went three-up-and-three-down in the bottom half of the frame.
The Pipers fall to 4-10, while the Bulldogs improve to 9-9.

Both teams combined for 28 hits in the contest, as Redlands held the slim 15-13 edge. Tyler Johnson and Owen Christenson accounted for six of those hits with three apiece that consisted of a double. Also contributing doubles for the Pipers were Caden Erickson, who went 2-for-5, and Mac Enlow. Matt Rusch also turned in a solid outing, going 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI for the Pipers.
Conor Mestemacher, Luke Schmaedeke, and Xavier Bembnister combined to strikeout seven batters and allow 15 hits and eight earned runs on the pitching mound for Hamline.
The Pipers will return to action on Wednesday, March 22, when they face Minnesota Morris (DH) in a neutral-site bout in Collegeville, Minnesota at 3 p.m.
