SAINT PAUL, MINN.—The Hamline University women's hockey team concluded the 2023-24 regular season with a 4-1 victory over Bethel at TRIA Rink on Saturday afternoon.
The Pipers improve to 18-7-0, 13-5-0 MIAC, while the Royals fall to 14-10-1, 8-9-1 MIAC.
No. 4 seed Hamline will host No. 5 Bethel in the 2023-24 MIAC Tournament First Round at TRIA Rink on Wednesday, February 21 at 7 p.m.

An early-game cushion consisted of goals from Annabel Mehta at 2:02 of the first period, Jaime Hurt at 8:53 of the first, Haley Eder-Zdechlik at 17:54 of the first, and Payton Luff at 14:42 of the second frame that put Hamline in front 4-0.Â
Abbie Delong spoiled Hamline's shutout with a goal at 4:09 of the third period, which narrowed the margin to 4-1. Mehta led the Pipers offense with one goal and one assist.
Hamline out shot Bethel 39-27.
Kendra Nordick made 26 saves in net for the Pipers, while Royals netminder Ashley Hess stopped 35 shots.
