ST. PETER, Minn. – The Hamline University Pipers men's and women's swim & dive teams turned in a strong showing at the Gustavus Adolphus Tri-Meet against Gustavus and Augsburg, highlighted by several top conference performances, individual wins, and an impressive 30 season bests — including six lifetime bests.

Senior
Kevin Bossou swept the diving events, taking first place on both the 1-meter (378.20) and 3-meter (387.10) boards.
On the men's side,
Jackson Ling captured first place in the 1650-yard freestyle (18:41.36). Ling also added a season-best 53.73 in the 100 freestyle.
Case Skaja finished second overall (22:42.26) in the mile.
The Pipers collected 30 season bests, with six lifetime bests, reflecting the team's midseason progress and depth. Among the notable performers:
- Gavin Karpe posted lifetime bests in the 100 Free (57.41), 100 Breast (1:16.86), and 100 Fly (1:09.05).
- Gus Shaffer continued his strong backstroke form, earning season bests in the 50 (29.69), 100 (1:01.22), and 200 (2:13.42) backstrokes, plus a 2:14.94 in the 200 IM.
- Tristan Popa swam lifetime bests in both the 200 Fly (2:31.26) and 200 IM (2:28.01).
- Megan Gunderson achieved lifetime bests in the 100 Free (1:04.01) and 200 Free (2:18.91).
- Kat Kocher hit three season bests — 100 Free (1:06.58), 500 Free (6:33.59), and 100 Back (1:16.54).
- Ellsa Sorenson-Wagner led the women's backstrokers with a 1:04.07 in the 100 Back.
- Matias Vega and Evan Poeschel each notched multiple bests across backstroke and sprint events.
