SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Hamline University first-year goaltender Harper Powell was named February 10 MIAC Women's Hockey Defensive Player of the Week. Powell is the second Piper this season to earn MIAC Player of the Week after Ashlyn Abrahamson on December 9.

Defensive: Harper Powell (Hamline)

Powell posted back-to-back shutouts in 5-0 victories over Concordia (Minn.) at TRIA Rink on February 7-8. The Two Harbors, Minnesota native registered 21, and 14-save performances in those shutout victories.

Powell and the Pipers will host St. Catherine at TRIA Rink on Friday, February 14 at 6 p.m.
