Three Pipers Earn MIAC Honors

SAINT PAUL, MINN.—Junior Camille Cummings represents the Hamline University women's basketball team on the 2024-25 MIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team. This is Cummings' first career trip to the MIAC All-Conference Team.

Offensive Player of the Year: Peyton Starks (Macalester)
Defensive Player of the Year: Elly Schmitz (Bethel)
Rookie of the Year: Brianna Nusbaum (Saint Mary's)
Coach of the Year: Laurie Kelly (Gustavus)

Cummings finished the season with a MIAC-leading .433 (58-of-134) three-point field goal percentage and ranked among the top five in the conference with 386 total points. The Lino Lakes, Minnesota native accumulated a team-leading 14.3 points per game as well as 38 steals, 25 assists, eight blocks, 4.1 rebounds per game, a .422 (132-of-313) field goal percentage, and a .762 (64-of-84) free throw percentage over 27 games played. She scored a season-high 25 points on two occasions; which included a 6-of-9 performance from the three-point line in a 75-48 win over Carleton on January 8.

In addition, senior Kate Trachsel was named 2024-25 MIAC Women's Basketball Honorable Mention. Junior Josie Wiebusch was named to the 2025 Women's Basketball All-Playoff Team after scoring 12 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting and 3-for-3 from beyond the arc in the Pipers' 73-61 win over Saint Mary's in the quarterfinal on February 25.

The Pipers finished the 2024-25 season with a 19-9 record.
