LA CROSSE, WIS.—The Hamline University women's lacrosse team concluded their 2025 season with a 22-4 road loss to UW-La Crosse on Saturday.
The Pipers end their inaugural season in the WIAC with a 6-9 record, while the Eagles will enter the 2025 WIAC Tournament with a 10-5 mark as the No. 4 seed.
UW-La Crosse 22, Hamline 4
Aoi Suzuki, Kayli Starkey, Ema Rehder, and Emma Collins each registered a goal for a Hamline squad that was efficient in clears with a 5-of-6 mark. Collins added an assist to her stat line, while Avery Wilson had two assists and two draw controls. Courtney Parker registered a team-leading three draw controls for the Pipers.
Megan Feeney netted a game-high nine goals and 10 points for the Eagles, who outshot the Pipers 31-9 in the contest. Four other Eagles scored multiple goals. Anna Millard led the Eagles defense with four caused turnovers and three ground balls. Megan Maloney added a team-leading five draw controls as well as two caused turnovers, three goals, two assists, and two ground balls.
Hamline goalie Matilda Urbia made four saves. Stefanie Rossi and Bree Rhodes, who each played 30:00 in net for the Eagles, didn't record a stop.
The Pipers bid farewell to lone senior Avery Wilson, and are set to return 17-of-18 student-athletes in 2026.
