SAINT PAUL, Minn. --- Hamline University women's hockey sophomore
Ashlyn Abrahamson (Devils Lake, N.D.), junior Anabel Mehta (Eden Prairie, Minn.), and senior
Iyla Ryskamp (Orono, Minn.) have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large honorees, the organization announced June 16.
Sophomore forward
Ashlyn Abrahamson appeared in all
28 games for Hamline University, ranking second on the team with
13 goals and
15 assists for a total of
28 points. She generated constant offensive pressure by registering
108 shots on goal to finish the year with a
.120 shooting percentage. Abrahamson also made a massive impact on special teams, leading the Pipers with
5 power-play goals while adding
2 game-winning goals over the course of her All-MIAC campaign.
Junior forward Anabel Mehta appeared in all
28 games for Hamline University, recording
10 goals and
6 assists for a total of
16 points. She registered
72 shots on goal to finish the year with a
.139 shooting percentage, making a dynamic impact in all situations by netting
2 short-handed goals and
2 game-winning goals over the course of her junior campaign, which culminated in earning MIAC All-Playoff Team honors.
Senior forward
Iyla Ryskamp skated in all
28 games for Hamline University, putting together a highly productive campaign with
8 goals and
11 assists for a total of
19 points. She fired
93 shots on goal to secure an
.086 shooting percentage, providing consistent top-six offensive production for the Pipers.
