    Assistant Baseball Coach
Weston Germain is in his seventh year as an assistant coach at Hamline University, joining the staff in 2017 and working as the Pipers’ pitching coach.

Germain previously served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for Grand Rapids Community College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He also serves as the pitching coach for the Grand Lake Mariners of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
 
Germain has been coaching since 2009, with positions at the high school level including head freshman coach, head junior varsity coach, varsity assistant, and head varsity coach. Most of this time was spent at his prep alma mater, Bay City Western, which is one of the top high school baseball programs in Michigan. 
 
As a player, Germain helped Muskegon Community College to its first conference championship in school history, while setting the school record for wins and serving as a team captain. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in education from Saginaw Valley State University. He now lives in Minneapolis with his wife Colleen, dogs Murphy and Apollo, and cat Mac.
