Jennifer Myers joined the Hamline track and field coaching staff in the spring of 2021. Myers works primarily with the sprinters, assisting them with workout implementation while also evaluating technique, performance metrics, and competition psychology.
 
Myers competed on the track team at Saint Benedict from 1999-2003, specializing in the 200 and 400-meter dashes and relays. While there, Myers set records in the 200-meter dash and was on the top-10 list in the 200, 400, and the 4x400 relay. She graduated from CSB with a degree in Psychology and went on to earn her master’s in Sports Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
 
Prior to coaching at Hamline, Myers was the head track and field coach at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Minneapolis from 2015-19 and she also serves as a Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) track and field official.
 
Myers currently works at Concordia University - St. Paul as a contracted faculty of practice within the Kinesiology department. She met her husband on the track team in college and together they have shared many miles of running (and running shoes). Outside of work, Myers teaches adult and youth fitness classes and personal training sessions in the St. Paul community and enjoys reading, baking, and exploring hiking trails.
