Hamline University Athletics

Morgan Zabel joined the Hamline women’s basketball program as an assistant coach before the 2019-20 season.

Zabel graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in 2014 with a double major in Finance and Business Management. She played four years of basketball for the Dragons where she served as team captain her senior year. During her career, she was a two-time All-NSIC pick, as well as earning a spot on the Academic All-Conference list and receiving the NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic Distinction Award. 

Zabel is a Northfield, Minnesota native and graduated from Northfield High School in 2010. She currently lives in Minneapolis and works at Securian Financial in St. Paul. She also coaches for the MN Fury AAU organization.
