Maureen is back for her second season as an assistant lacrosse coach at Hamline. She grew up in West Hartford, CT and played high school soccer and lacrosse at Loomis Chaffee. In college, She was a 4-year starter for the William Smith Herons Lacrosse team, serving as co-captain during both her junior and senior seasons. During her time at William Smith, the Herons advanced to the NCAA DIII final four 3 times and made it to the Championship game her senior year in 1992. After college, Maureen pursued a career in Marketing and Product Management for 10 years before moving to MN in 2002 and devoting more time to her passion for coaching young athletes. She was instrumental in growing the game of lacrosse in Rochester, inn. and has worked to offer players with opportunities to compete at all levels in the state.
Maureen has coached youth soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse as well as high school and club/traveling lacrosse for the MN Lakers. In addition to coaching, Maureen is a trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance, spreading the mission of developing better athletes and better people. Maureen serves as the Coaching Coordinator for the Stillwater Area Lacrosse Association and is a member of the Stillwater Area Hockey Association Girls Hockey Advisory Board. Maureen lives in Stillwater, MN with her husband Schuyler and their three children -- Carter, Joseph and Maggie.
