  • Title
Assistant Cross Country Coach / Assistant Track & Field Coach
Alyssa Nash will embark on her first season as Hamline University assistant men's and women's cross country coach in 2024.

Nash started at Hamline in the fall of 2014 as a student-athlete on the cross country and track and field teams. Along with running cross country, she focused on mid-distance events during track and enjoyed running relays with her teammates. She has fond memories of scoring relays and meets as well as being part of the competitive MIAC spirit. Sharing miles and workouts with her friends was her favorite part of her competitive time at Hamline.

Previous to coaching at Hamline she worked as an assistant cross country coach with the St. Louis Park program for five seasons and has pursued a career in the non-profit sector with Conservation Minnesota serving as their HR Operations Manager. She has participated in many of the USATF team circuit races including the TC-10 mile and most recently competed in the Garry Bjorklund half marathon. She now enjoys running and training competitively as a hobby with friends.

Nash obtained a bachelor's degree in both sociology and women's studies with a minor in nonprofit management from Hamline in 2018.
